Four Rolls Rolling Mill
The roll system of four rolls rolling mill consists of two supporting rolls and two working rolls. The pressing force from cylinder or mechanical system will be transmitted through bearing stand, supporting roll, working roll and finally act on the product during operation. The height of strip will reduced and its length will be extended to meet with customer’s needs.
The disadvantage of four rolls rolling mill is that the deflection will cause a thinner edge on strip product. And the rolls need to be grinded after a period of operation.
Six Rolls Rolling Mill
There are 2 more additional rolls which will be oscillated between working rolls and supporting rolls to eliminate the deflation problem during operation. Oscillation distance will be changed according to different width of strip. A better contact pressure distribution (flattening value distribution) control between rolls will greatly benefit the shape and flatness of product.
